Suzanne Blair-Burtner "I was an exercise rider and groom at one of the top racing stable in England in my teens and have been training green horses and ponies ever since. I feel fortunate to be able to borrow techniques from many outstanding horsemen such as Parelli, Roberts, Lyons, and Reis. I strongly believe that most problems with horses and ponies stem from pecking order confusion and that the greatest tool one can have as a trainer is calm, consistent leadership. My goal as a mother is to produce horses and ponies that are trustworthy and predictable. I want each and every one to end up the barn favorite. I love the greenies best because putting a solid foundation on a horse or pony ensures that it will be loved for a lifetime." |
