Evans Southern Comfort 2007 Section B Welsh Gelding *Hilin Trysor x Whispering Blue Lady Dragon This is a super fancy gelding.  *Hilin Trysor is only beginning his career as a sire here at Mt. Dragon.  However, he is already producing fancy foals which are competing and winning in good company.  Evans Marcus, owned by Promise Land Farm in NC has a very successful season with his last season.  Marcus will be their Senior Herdsire and will continue in his show career. Hidden Springs Minuet (half welsh mare) (Doll House Mocha Latte X Hidden Springs Secret Sister) Minuet is a is a wonderful tribute to Diane Randolph's breeding program.  The Hidden Springs ponies have built a solid reputation on the east coast and this filly is no exception to the consistent quality of Diane's ponies.  Sired by Mocha and out of one of the Hidden Spring's cross bred mares, Minuet measures 12.2hh as a yearling.  She will certainly mature a medium is not a large.  Minuet is gentle and easy to handle, combined with the willingness to move brilliantly.  This is a show pony prospect deluxe. Congratulations to Samantha of Ocala Sport Horse in Florida on her acquisition of these two lovely Section B mares, Evans Last Child and Ten Pine Delicate Lace, and the lovely  Lianna Hy-Sparkles and Brooksfield Lollipop, both Section A mares.  These four mares will be bred to Samantha's talented young  Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International Stud Book 1 stallion Donafur.  We can't wait for the 2011 arrival of these future Sport ponies!

Evans Warwick 2006 Section B Welsh Gelding Bristol Victorio x Madoc Smiles This is an elegant, bred in the blue gelding with that sought after "daisy cutter" movement. He inherited his dam's lovely chiseled head and beautifully formed neck. Warwick is the first foal this lovely mare has produced for us and the breeding certainly shows. Gorgeous, as she is known here on the farm, is by Smoke Tree Silver Dragon, who is listed as one of the top ten hunter producers in the nation. On the bottom, Gorgeous pedigree carries the sought after Liseter lines which produce wonderful performance ponies. Sired by our beloved Ch., and many time Ch. and Sup. Ch producer, Bristol Victorio, this gelding will be phenomenal. Warwick aka Wallie is with Kali Vanagas in Bend, Oregon.  He has been part of Kali's training program since Fall 2009.  Wallie's progress is extraordinary but also typical of ponies under Kali's careful tutelage.  Wallie will make a kind, solid child's mount.  He is presently going well  with a young equestrian as his partner.
