I have always believed that a good stallion makes a great gelding.  *Friars Sunday Best, a truly lovely Welsh Mountain Pony and a Royal Welsh Winner as a weanling is destined to make just that - a great gelding.  He is put together to perform, either under saddle or as a driving pony supreme.  He is progressing well as he begins his training and is as tractable as we knew he would be.  He is lovely in the long lines.  Sunday has a natural frame which he holds effortlessly.  He has a relaxed swinging walk, a ground covering trot, and a smooth effortless canter.   It goes without saying he will do well in any halter class.  Inquire for price which will increase with training. Evans Linette 2007 Section A Welsh Filly (*Friars Sunday Best x Lianna's Hy-Melody) This pony represents everything wonderous that first attracted us to the Welsh Pony.  She is exotic and very feminine.  Her trot is up-hill  with amazing extension.  She exhibits the perfect combination of old Welsh Mountain Pony lines which are true treasures in today's Welsh.  This filly should go to a show home, to a true connoisseur of the breed. Lleucu Llwyd won the Royal Show and was Female Champion in 1993 & Champion Shropshire & West Midlands. She also won Champion & Reserve Supreme Champion Cheshire Show 2002
