Evans Providence Of The Night passes IRS Oldenburg Inspection!
We would like to announce that our home grown, senior stallion, Evans Providence Of The Night passed the ISR Oldenburg Inspection with flying colors and excellent scores. Retired from the show ring after his incredibly successful 2006 season, Providence wowed the judges at the prestigious event with a strong performance in all areas. Scoring a total of 231 points, Providence received 8's or higher in a number categories including canter, athletic ability and balance, Dressage: capability, style & technique, and natural aptitude and balance. His jumping index was 84.

Due to Providence's early show career, he doesn't have many foals on the ground. However, he has already produced one 1st Premium winning filly and other winners at halter in breed shows. We currently had one two year old filly by Providence available, Evans Dark Merideth, one yearling palomino colt, Evans Volturi, and one black weanling colt, Evans The Bravery.
Providence is a substantial stallion, standing at a true 13.2hh. He moves like a WB and passes on both his athletic ability and correct beauty to his foals.

Although Bram had already proven to be the producer of big gorgeous foals, she had clearly outdone herself with this foal. Only moments old, Providence made my heart turn over. | As a two year old Providence won many championships and stood at the top the whole year, accomplishing much as a 2 year. He won Regional Championships, named Res. Supreme Champion, Western National Res. Grand Champion Section B, and many, many blues in the Welsh and Open Ring. | |
| Now, three years later, Providence is at the top in the Welsh show ring and Open Ring winning multiple Supreme Championships, a repeated title at Western Nationals (2004 and 2005 Supreme Res. Champion), Grand Champion Sport Pony Championships, Open Show Championships and he was UNDEFEATED in 2005 in the Section B 3/4 year old Stallion Class!! He won not only in halter against extremely strong competition, but also under saddle where he was show twice in 2005, and at his second show took home blues in the ridden pony class under Julie Evans of the UK, Green English Pleasure and he won the English Pleasure Championship! | |
| Second generation EVANS, Providence has proven to be a force to contend with in the show ring. We feel he will prove equally impressive as a sire. His bloodlines are exemplary. Standing at 13.3hh, Providence gives back to the breed traits which have become rare and or impossible to find - size, bone, substance, beauty, and huge clean natural movement crowned with the tractable temperament of an angel. One of the most oft heard requests "P" generates at shows whether people can touch him and ask if he is for real. He is the one pony who can bring the crowd to its feet and cheer, no matter what.
