Mt. Dragon Pony Acres and Screven Equine Center, LLC are pleased to introduce Evans Ceridwen. This lovely chestnut mare will be introduced to the circuit this spring to begin her show career. She will start her walk trot classes and move on to short stirrup.
Evans Cadfael took Reserve Best Pony in Jacksonville his first time out at 14 months.
Sparkes and Bergeron plan to let him grow up a little before the final decision will be made for his future. We wish them all the best in the upcoming show year as he will be campaigned on the USEF "A" circuit in Zone 4.

"Toby" is a tall, elegant colt with an amazing front end. His neck is swan-like in it's length and shape. We had sold Almond in foal to Sally Meohring of Cottage Farm in Florida. When we lost Maradonna, Sally agreed to sell Almond and her son back to us. For that we are very grateful. Tobias will mature well over 13hh. We believe he has the quality to be an important sire. We believe he will produce a lot of color for us also.

Mt Dragon Pony Acres, LLC located in Joseph, Oregon and Screven Equine Center, LLC located in Sylvania, Georgia have entered in to a mutual agreement granting access to the famous "Evans" Mt. Dragon Stud offspring. This agreement will provide young equestrians as well as pony breeders the opportunity to have these much sought after bloodlines available on the east coast.
Welsh Ponies have been a part of the family through many years! Officially established in 1986, Evans Welsh Ponies celebrate their 32nd year with the Welsh in 2008. “This is a huge step toward making us a full service breeding farm. We are thrilled with this relationship and the new dimension it will allow us to offer our customers”, states Kathleen Rawls, owner of Mt. Dragon Welsh.
2007 was a land-mark year at Mt Dragon. First foals from UK Medal Winner, *Bronheulog Armani have arrived. Royal Welsh Winner *Friars Sunday Best first foals, two classic fillies, were all we had hoped for! This marks the second year for foals from UK Halter Winner, *Priestwood Domingo, *Eyarth Ares, and Supreme Champion *Menai Carlo.
By adding Screven Equine Center LLC as an east coast representative, we look forward to great things in the future. Sarah Hyers, managing partner for Screven Equine Center LLC said she will house the ponies at her Rincon Georgia barn where she operates Staffordshire Equestrian Center, a Hunter - Jumper show barn. Staffordshire's riders currently show on the USEF "A" circuit as well as locally sanctioned shows.
Mt. Dragon Welsh and Screven Equine Center LLC currently have Evans ponies available for inspection. Select 2007 foals will soon be available at Screven Equine Center LLC in time for the 2008 show season.
