Evans Darby 2006 Section B Welsh Gelding Bristol Victorio x Elizan Brocade by *Heniarth Neon W we have had so many wonderful foals from Victorio through the years. This gelding is exceptional in even the most elite commpany. Brocade is a lovely mare with the sought after "imported" look, that clean elegance which is such a pretty attribute of the Cottrell lines. Like the best of the Victorio get, this colt has a lovely topline. He drives from behind and has wonderful extension. Ten Pine Lacey's Golden Dream 2006 Section B Palomino Welsh Pony Mare Sanalta's High Caliber x Sanalta Golden Lace This golden filly represents a "golden" cross.  We have had other full sisters and half sisters who have gone on to make lovely performance ponies.  Dream has a gorgeous feminine head with beautiful eyes.  She is well proportioned and makes a lovely picture of a classic Welsh filly.  Dream is ready to begin her training.  She will mature a small and should make a darling child's mount. Evans Dracul 2008 Section B Welsh Chestnut Colt *Kenwoods Royal Charter x Evans Bram Stoker Bram has outdone herself this season presenting us with this fabulous colt.  He is very fancy with flawless conformation accentuated by a blaze and four high stockings.  In the tradition of other Bram foals, this colt will be a top contender in any discipline.  This is our third foal from *Kenwoods Royal Charter.  This impeccably bred colt has already proven himself to be the breeder's sire.

	Evans Armand 2006 Section B Welsh Gelding Bristol Victorio x Woodridge Legacy Full Brother to our Champion Producing Mare, Evans Bram Stoker. In the beginning, when Mt. Dragon's Section B program was in its infancy, we purchased fillies bred by the Woodridge Stud in Oregon. They were all sired by Oak Grove Robinhood, one of the most exotic Welsh stallions I have ever seen. These fillies included, Woodridge Legacy, Woodridge Fancy Me, Woodridge Audacity, and Woodridge Silk N Tassels. All were beautiful mares and all produced well for us. Legacy was a Halter Champion in her own right and as a broodmare has reigned here at Mt. Dragon. Two of her most notable foals are Evans Bram Stoker, Halter Champion who is the dam of International Supreme and Riding Champion Evans Providence Of The Night. The other foal of Legacy's who has won many championships in the ring in hand already is Evans Johnny Black. Repeating that cross again this year, we had hoped for another filly of Bram's ilk. Instead, we welcome Evans Armand .This amazing gelding joins the elite group of Bristol Victorio x Woodridge Legacy foals with his OLD FASHIONED WELSH TYPE!! Wow!! Bone, substance, and Welsh Character. This is an incredible gelding.
	Evans Jura 2007 Section B Welsh Gelding *Priestwood Domingo x *Bronheulog Antonia Jura looks every inch the incredibly well bred gelding he is.  Jura's dam is a Royal Welsh Winner who had a wonderful show record in the UK.  His sire, *Priestwood Domingo,  was one of the last sons of the Legendary Carolina's Purple Emperor.  A liver chestnut with plenty of chrome, Jura has a classic short refined Welshie head which will get even better as he matures.  His elegant neck ties cleanly into a nicely shaped shoulder.  His back is short coupled and is part of a attractive topline.  You would be hard pressed to find a comparable gelding in the UK.

 

Alder Forget Me Knot 1997 Section B Welsh Mare (Bristol Sun God x WG Easter Flower) Knotty is a well trained, 12.2hh mare who is ready for an intermediate or advanced rider. She is very soft, responsive, and willing. After not having been ridden for two years, we saddled her up and rode all around the property at a walk and trot. She will make an awesome performance pony or broodmare. She often passes on her size and color, and all of her foals has been as gentle and sweet as she is. Roans are very popular in the hunter ring. Knotty's pedigree has some the best of the best in Section B bloodlines, including her sire, Bristol Sun God, who is a Multi National Champion and just recently inspected Sport pony Stallion. Knotty is a mutli Champion in hand, winning multi championships under some of the USA and UK's most respected judges. In 2006, she foaled out a Chestnut colt, Evans Ambrose, by our imported stallion, *Eyarth Ares. In 2007 she foaled a chestnut roan filly, Evans Charisma Sun God , by *Priestwood Domingo. Watch her 2007 filly move in her new video from May, 2008! Knotty is in her new home with Shelby.  The last we heard, Shelby was preparing to give Knotty a bubble bath  - because that is what little girls do!

Holly Hills Promises Kept 1992 Section B Roan Welsh Pony Mare (Llanarth Squire x Mary’s Lalique) Congratulations Barbara Fischer of Fischer Welsh Ponies on the purchase of Holly Hills Promises Kept.  Promise was especially picked to compliment Barbara's young herd sire, Evans Judgement (*Hilin Trysor x Evans Paradise City)  We look forward to the first foal from this cross in 2009.  Promise has had a number of wonderful foals for us.  We are retaining her daughter sired by *Wedderlie Maradonna.    We wish Barbara the best of luck with her Welsh and Welsh cross.  They are going to be amazing!

Whispering Scarlett (Cadlan Valley Cardinal X Lil Miss Kaydee) "It was with great pleasure we agreed to let Scarlett go to her new home with Joyce and Howard Bird, home of the Bird's Classic Welsh Ponies.  Scarlett joins other Evans ponies there including Supreme Champion Evans Solomon and Ch. Evans Madison Star.  Scarlett leaves behind her lovely 2007 filly, Evans Poster Child sired by *Eyarth Ares.  We look forward to seeing Scarlett join Joyce and Howard's show string.  Thank you Joyce for Weston aka Bird's Mardi Gras Masque sired by *Wedderlie Mardi Gras.

It was a pleasure to meet Holly and Doug Baird and their family when they were here looking at the ponies.  They own Evans Quintus and have added Crestone Singin The Blues, Evans Daffyd, and Evans Drew to their farm in Montana.  Daffyd and Drew are full brothers and will make a marvelous driving team.  We wish Holly luck with the ponies and in all she does.

	Crestone Singin' The Blues 2005 Section C Black Welsh Mare (*Dony's Conflict x *Nauaddparc Lady's Got Blues) Crestone Singin' The Blues is the epitome of Cob perfection.  Blues is gentle and kind.  She has a beautiful head and correct conformation.  The best part is when she moves, which is sheer Cob elegance and power personified.  Blues' pedigree would be difficult to match, even in the UK with strong Synod influence top and bottom.  If you are looking for a lovely performance mare, a loyal friend, and/or a valuable broodmare, this filly will fulfill your dreams. 	Evans Charisma Sun God 2007 Section B Welsh Filly *Priestwood Domingo x Alder Forget Me Knot This is a filly we had hoped for from this cross.  She is a lovely creature with huge doe eyes and all the class and "charisma" you would expect from a halter champion bred to halter champion and performance lines bred to performance lines.  Charis can brag about her top-drawer pedigree with Carolina's Purple Emperor and Bristol Sun God as grandsires. Bristol Sun God was legendary in the NW show ring for years.  He was National Champion, Western National Champion, Supreme Champion, WPCSA High Score Champion, Regional Champion and Grand Champion Section B stallion.  Sun God was also a winner in Harness and under saddle.  Charis' dam is one of the many Champions produced by this stallion.   In Oct of 2004 At 311/2 years old, Sun God was awarded first premium stallion at the American Sport Pony inspection .  His score was 7.8.  Sun God achieved this score despite have Kushing Disease which prevented him from showing off his amazing movement.  It is thought his score would have been much higher if judges could have seen him move.  *Priestwood Domingo is one of the last sons of Carolina's Purple Emperor.  This line of pony, best know in the US through his son, Carolina's Red Fox have made their mark at lovely ponies which win on the line and under saddle.  Domingo was shown in the UK before his importation where he was the most winning yearling colt that season. This is a show filly, performance filly, and the cream of Welsh Riding Pony bloodlines all in one gorgeous liver chestnut package AND this girl can MOVE!!   SOLD to Mary Stewart! 	Evans Poison 2004 Section B Welsh Pony Mare Bristol Victorio x *Cloigen Fair Trail Poison is a small (under 12.2hh) classic black Section B filly.  Three years old in 2007, she has the conformation and way to going to do well as a performance pony.  She has a beautiful classic Welsh head, beautifully shaped and set on a nice length of rein.  Poison's pedigree is a marvelous blend of the "Old Fashioned" domestic lines and sought after imported lines.  Downland Chevalier is on her dam's papers.  Poison has been wormed, trimmed, and vaccinated.  She is gentle and has had her ground work. 	Whispering Rhanne 2004 Section B Welsh Pony Mare (Supreme Champion *Casnewydd Little Joe x Elizan Neon Brocade) This is a big, bold filly waiting to go to work.  Her full brother is doing well in the Sport Pony arena and Annie could certainly do the same.  Her sire is a lovely imported stallion who has gone Supreme Champion at Welsh shows.  Her dam is very well bred also.  Annie is a medium.  She has a lovely sweeping trot with very little knee.  SOLD!

Evans Megan 2004 Section C Welsh Mare Lascaux Rothko X Blaze Evans Megan 2004 Liver chestnut roan filly (Lascaux Rothko x Blaze) is ready to begin her career as a family pony, child's pony, or driving pony.  She has a beautiful head and neck and wonderful depth of body.  This is our last filly by Champion Section C stallion, Lascaux Rothko.  Megan's full sister, Evans Lady Marmalade is doing well with her new owners in WA. and is said to be very quiet and trainable.  Megan is a small. Kelly Acres Reflections 2005 Section B Welsh Mare (Quorn Iron Thunder x Kelly Acres Shadow) This brown dun filly is a a pretty headed filly with huge eyes.  She is a very nice mover and her unusual brown/black dun color accentuates her nice conformation.  Her pedigree is a marvelous blend of imported Section B and the old classic blood which can still be found in some parts of the US and Canada.  She will mature a  small.  Reflection is intelligent and tractable.  She is current on worming, vaccinations, and trims. Ten Pine Wild Lil Windsong (Sanaltas High Caliber x Youngs Wild Lil Woman) Windsong is an old type with bone and bred in blue with such names in her pedigree as Pendock Perseus and Pendock Prudence. She would make a great walk/trot or short stirrup pony for anyone looking to make her into one. Windsong is doing very well under saddle.  She is tractable and willing to please. Windsong has started flying changes and jumping small courses! Congratulations to Tracey Flanagan and family from Carthage NC!

Ten Pine Intricate Lace 2004 Section B Welsh Pony Mare (Sanaltas High Caliber x Sanalta Golden Lace) Ten Pines Intricate Lace was purchased by Donna Heffner of Idaho.  "I would like Lace and her offspring to be the first of several, - - -  in my dreams I would like to train naturally and train the little person I would be selling  a pony to so the experience could be pleasurable for all concerned."  Lace was bred to our UK Medal Winner, *Bronheulog Armani for a 2009 foal.  Best of luck to you Donna and all you do!

Evans Morovia 1999 Section A Welsh Mare (Gallimaufry Jaguar x Heritage Halls Olivia) Morovia is a well bred, beautiful, substantially put together mare and is coming along very well in her training.  She will make a lovely performance pony, either under saddle or in harness.  Her pedigree is lovely.  Her sire, Gallimaufry Jaguar is a Supreme of Show winner and an excellent producer. She has had 60 days of training with Kali Vanagas and has a solid foundation.

Congratulations to my long time friend and confidant Suzanne Bryson of Stone Country Welsh in Alberta, Canada on her acquisition of Supreme Ch. *Menai Carlo.  Carlo will become part of Suzanne's impressive Welsh Cob breeding program.  We also expect to see Carlo in the show ring in the near future.  "We are extremely excited about *Menai Carlo joining our Section C breeding program here at Stonecountry Welsh!  He has produced outstanding foals and we look forward to adding his outstanding bloodlines to our outstanding Section C breeding herd!!" - Suzanne

*Menai Carlo (Menai Casfridog x Menai Lady Charade) Carlo is the grandson of the illustrious multi Royal Welsh ridden Champion Menai Furious. At 6 years old, now is the perfect time for him to make his own name as a sport pony. Carlo is a substantial 13h and is one of the sweetest, most gentle stallions you will meet. In 2004, he was the Western National Supreme Champion. He is a truly outstanding stallion with breeding, conformation, movement, and presence to burn.

We are pleased to introduce a new chapter to a story that stands the test of time. The cornerstone of our breeding plan is traveling back east to live out his days in the care of Zach and Kate Shields. Their Sangamon Park program has been established to follow a line-breeding practice tracing to Criban Victor. We are certain there exists no other stallion more suited to serve this purpose than our beloved Victorio. Our fond memories and best wishes go with him. We will always cherish the legacy he left behind at Mt. Dragon.

Bristol Victorio Section B Welsh Pony Stallion (RosMel Cotillion x Lithgow Wishnik) Victorio is now 17 years old and doesn't look a day over 9. His foals inherit their father's extreme Welsh type and movement and are wonderfully kind. At a substantial 13'2, Victorio produces ponies with size, substance, beauty, and movement, which make them very saleable. His foals have proven themselves in the many disciplines open to the Welsh; including producing Supreme Of The Show Halter Winners, Dressage Mounts, Driving Champions, Hunter Ponies, Champion Producing Mares, Herd sires, and let us not forget, the ever-important Family Pony.

Evans Ceridwen (*Llanarth Cavalcade X Lil Miss KayDee) 2004 Section B Mare Mt. Dragon Pony Acres and Screven Equine Center, LLC are pleased to introduce Evans Ceridwen.  This lovely chestnut mare will be introduced to the circuit this spring to begin her show career. She will start her walk trot classes and move on to short stirrup.	Evans Cadfael (*Morton's The Celebrity x Lane's Cherry Jubilee) 2006 Section B Colt Evans Cadfael took Reserve Best Pony in Jacksonville his first time out at 14 months. Sparkes and Bergeron plan to let him grow up a little before the final decision will be made for his future. We wish them all the best in the upcoming show year as he will be campaigned on the USEF "A" circuit in Zone 4.
