"We bought Evans Dark Pleasure (Bristol Victorio x Lane's Peach Blossom) from the Watt's family in Lebanon, OR about 9 months ago. We absolutely ADORE her! My daughter (9yrs old) started her under saddle, and has been very successfully showing her in hunter schooling shows and 4H shows. She loves to go trailriding and is up for just about anything that my daughter wants her to do. She literally cannot walk past someone without a nice compliment! Her temperment is flawless, and her athleticism and beauty are only icing on the cake! We would love to visit your farm someday. We'll definitely visit when we're in the market for another pony!"
"And while I'm bragging about our beloved little "Fergie" (that's what we call her), I wanted to tell you about the first show that we took her to. She had only been under saddle for about two months (she never offered to buck by the way...) and we took her to an open show at our local fairgrounds. We weren't expecting anything of her, but thought that the exposure to a show would be a good thing. My daughter's trainer took her in a halter class strictly to let her look at the ring. It was a class of 17 mares (all horses) and she won the class! She came back to the championship class and won Champion Halter for the whole show! As a testament to her temperment, I let my 5 yr old (very green) daughter ride her in a leadline class that day and she behaved perfectly. She has since earned two more Championships in Hunter shows. And we honestly get "most beautiful pony ever" comments from everyone including judges to trainers to our vet, and lots of little girls!"
