Our first foal of the season was a repeat of a marvelous cross, import to import, which resulted in producing Champion Evans Maximus. Evans Marcus is a true black colt with a blaze and stockings which accentuate his classic looks. Like his brother, he moves with very little knee and wonderful extension. He has a gorgeous head with huge eyes. This is an extraordinary colt with a pedigree which you would be hard put to match anywhere, including Wales and England.

Evans Warwick
(Bristol Victorio x Madoc Smiles) is an elegant, bred in the blue gelding with that sought after "daisy cutter" movement. He inherited his dam's lovely chiseled head and beautifully formed neck. Warwick is the first foal this lovely mare has produced for us and the breeding certainly shows. Gorgeous, as she is known here on the farm, is by Smoke Tree Silver Dragon, who is listed as one of the top ten hunter producers in the nation. On the bottom, Gorgeous pedigree carries the sought after Liseter lines which produce wonderful performance ponies. Sired by our beloved Ch., and many time Ch. and Sup. Ch producer, Bristol Victorio, this gelding will be phenomenal.

In the beginning, when Mt. Dragon's Section B program was in its infancy, we purchased fillies bred by the Woodridge Stud in Oregon. They were all sired by Oak Grove Robinhood, one of the most exotic Welsh stallions I have ever seen. These fillies included, Woodridge Legacy, Woodridge Fancy Me, Woodridge Audacity, and Woodridge Silk N Tassels. All were beautiful mares and all produced well for us. Legacy was a Halter Champion in her own right and as a broodmare has reigned here at Mt. Dragon. Two of her most notable foals are Evans Bram Stoker, Halter Champion who is the dam of International Supreme and Riding Champion Evans Providence Of The Night. The other foal of Legacy's who has won many championships in the ring in hand already is Evans Johnny Black. Repeating that cross again this year, we had hoped for another filly of Bram's ilk. Instead, we welcome Evans Armand .This amazing gelding joins the elite group of Bristol Victorio x Woodridge Legacy foals with his OLD FASHIONED WELSH TYPE!! Wow!! (*Wedderlie Maradonna x *Safira- Dutch WarmBlood) This foaling season has been so bittersweet. *Wedderlie Maradonna's last foals have surpassed our hopes and dreams. This colt is no exception. His dam is an exceptional mare which we purchased to produce larges for us, bred to our Welsh stallions. Leopold is an incredible combination of Welsh and WarmBlood. He has an outstanding chiseled head, tremendous bone and substance and a huge sweeping trot. Look for him in our future breeding program as he brings an exciting new dimension to our ponies here at Mt Dragon.

Jadyn is a lovely filly that comes from one of our strong Bristol lines that has been successful for years in both halter and performance. She is sired by our wonderful Champion stallion, Morton's The Celebrity, who carries outstanding Sport and Hunter Pony bloodlines. We are going to retain this lovely filly for our future.

Evans Maradonna's Tiger Lilly
We welcome our second *Wedderlie Maradonna filly of the season, Evans Maradonna's Tiger Lily. We recently sold the exquisite imported mare, *Heniarth Liliput to our dear friends and Welsh Breeders, Melanie and Josh Pritchett of Thornehill Farm. We reserved the foal Lili was carrying if it was a filly, which is was - - an amazing palomino filly!! Mel assures me I will love her and I know she is right. For now, we will settle for photos, which we will share. Enjoy! This is truly a "golden baby".

Our first Maradonna foal is a stunning black filly out of the most lovely *Trewithian Lamorna. This same cross last season produced an amazing bay colt, Evans Havoc. Havoc sold to a show home and will make a serious performance gelding. Named in honor of her late sire, Evans Maradonna's Violette is the epitome of the best the UK has to offer in not only pedigree but type and movement. We plan to retain this filly.

This is a first time cross with Knight's Royal Olympian being put to our home-raised and oh so fancy Evans Glory and Honor. Our only Knight baby this season, Evans Saxon is everything we had hoped he would be. With his conformation and movement, he is Sport Pony, Hunter Pony delux. A second generation Evans pony, this flashy chestnut colt has the pedigree to excel as a sire for the serious breeder also.

Evans Ambrose
The first foal of our imported Section B Stallion *Eyarth Ares, who is sired by the champion Eyarth Celebration. Ambrose is out of our lovely Section B Adler Forget Me Knot who carries an incredible pedigree of old blood. This colt will be an outstanding herd sire or performance gelding.

Evans Precious Cargo
Our first foal from many time Multi International Supreme and many time Riding Champion Evans Providence Of The Night is an amazing bay colt. We were surprised when this colt arrived at his lack of chrome. A fancy colt in a plain bay package, Evans Kells has performance written ordained in his future. His wonderful imported dam, *Cloigan's Fair Trial whose pedigree includes many greats of the Welsh World including one of my personal favorites, Downland Chevaliar. Kells has the sweeping trot of a hunter pony. A third generation Evans pony, he carries some of our best, most well loves lines which have proven themselves many times over in the performance arena.

This is an incredible Section C Filly, our first C x C cross from our Imported Section C Stallion National Supreme Champion *Menai Carlo and out of WPCSA National High Score Champion Mare, Lascaux Adagio. She is loaded with pony type and old cob movement. Lovely pedigree loaded with many Royal Welsh Champion both in hand and under saddle. Congratulations to Amor's new owners!
