2003 Section B Welsh Pony Stallion

*Kenwood's Royal Charter is the product of one of our favorite breeding programs in all of Europe.  Our good friend, Maurice of Kenwood, breeds consistently outstanding ponies which win in the ring and reproduce themselves in the best of breeding programs.

One of the best parts of raising Welsh Ponies is the people you meet through the ponies. Maurice Bertram of the renowned Kenwood Stud in the Netherlands, first began our correspondence when he signed our Guestbook. Since then, we have had a wonderful time discussing ponies and exchanging e-mails. My first photo of our new stallion which Maurice so kindly sold to me was a foal photo taken when he was a only moments old. Before coming to us, Kenwood Royal Charter was shown quite successfully. His winnings are below:
	Royal Charter Show Results - 2004 1st & Youngstock Champion Section B at the Heteren show - qualified for the the National show First at the National Show Kootwijk 1st, Youngstock Champion Section B and Reserve Champion Section B at the WPCV Summer Show - Judge was John Carter Millcroft stud, Wales
Now that he is finally here at our farm, I must admit Royal Charter is even more wonderful in person. He is a gorgeous colt with a gorgeous head, amazing length of rein, and an astonishing trot!! WOW!! We love this colt!! Kenwood Royal Charter will be available for breeding to outside mares via shipped semen in 2006. We feel proud to offer a young stallion of this caliber. Pajon's Royal Illusion *Kenwoods Royal Charter x Pajon's Fantasia Donna O'Neil of Marsh Haven Farm sent us this photo of her stunning colt by our young stallion, *Kenwood Royal Charter along with the following note.  "Illusion is now holding his own at the championship level, being Supreme Section B Welsh at the Alberta Youngstock Futurity.  He is going well in harness. He is first premium licensed North American Sport Pony Hunter type.  He is Canadian Performance Futurity nominated to go against the big guys at 4 hopefully in all three disciplines."
